To perform a soft reset; Step 1: Turn the device over, and locate the battery cover release slot. Step 2: Lift the cover and remove the battery from the S5. Step 3: Wait 10 seconds before you reinsert the battery. Step 4: Insert the battery and replace the cover. Step 5: Insert the battery and replace the cover.
